ЧЕНЦОВ Николай Гаврилович (1882-1968) , российский конструктор, инженер, профессор (1950). Ученик Н. Е. Жуковского, один из основателей ЦАГИ. Труды по динамике воздушного винта, разработка графического метода построения эпюра изгибающих моментов для сжатоизогнутых балок ("круги Ченцова"), оптического метода определения напряжений в упругих телах сложной формы.

ТЭЙШОНОВ ВОССТАНИЕ , крестьянское восстание во Вьетнаме в 1771-1802; название от местности Тэйшон ("Западные горы") в Центр. Вьетнаме, где восстание началось. Тэйшоны, овладев всем Вьетнамом, основали в 1788 новую династию; в 1789 отразили вторжение войск маньчжурской династии Цин. Подавлено в 1802.
